Some products are listed with their actual names (like Vaseline), some are not (like some of the products in the list on the right). A few of the varicose vain products you will see have links to the manufacturer's website to see their full ingredients and their claims.
Varicose veins are swollen blood vessels that run from the heel or toes of the feet (called varicose veins). Varicose veins are very common in people with diabetes (diabetic foot ulcers). The condition is called diabetic varicose vein varicose veins because it is caused by diabetes. In some people, these veins may be very large, and they may look swollen (called varicose arteriosclerosis). The condition usually clears up with a diet, medications, and exercise. In others, the condition gets worse. The condition can be life-threatening for some people.
If you have varicose veins, they can appear anywhere on the body. The main symptom is pain and swelling of your legs and feet. You may have a lump on the back of your neck. Varicose veins can cause a redness or a bluish hue on the skin around them.
The condition is often accompanied by a skin rash. Your skin may swell or turn red.
